Diving in Tavolara at the Secca del Papa

The Protected Marine Area of Tavolara and Punta Coda Cavallo protects fifteen thousand hectares of sea and about forty km of coastal territory, considered among the most beautiful in Sardinia.

The island system constitutes the heart of the biodiversity of this area and gives a particular charm to the landscape. There is a strong contrast between the limestone mass of Tavolara, the dragon island that rises from the sea, with its rugged and vertical shapes and the smaller islands, Molara, Molarotto, the Piana and dei Cavalli islands, rounded and granite.
